He is about to finish his BS in Exercise Science and move to the doctoral program in the coming year. Sahan as an athlete has always been attracted to health and nutrition for personal growth. He realized he had gained so much knowledge and experience in his pursuit of his sport and in dealing with injuries that came along the way. He realized Physical Therapy was the perfect choice for him to bring his passion for health and wellness along with his previously gained experience. Watching his parents he also wanted to help people in his own way. He learned Reiki Level 1 when he was only 7 years old and saw how well it worked when he treated his friend once after getting hurt. He loved the feeling of helping others in this way. During High School he had the opportunity to learn the Trager Approach, a therapy using gentle body movements that have a profound effect on the client even on their mind and emotions to heal old stuck trauma. He has just finished his level 2 training and wishes to complete level 3 and fulfill his requirements to practice the Trager Approach. On Fridays he shares his knowledge and experience on a podcast called Figuring It Out with his friends to educate the public. He is very excited to bring to the practice what he has learned and share his expertise while pursuing more modalities to better his treatment.

Monica Mcgrow L.Ac ● Licensed Practitioner of Acupuncture ● BA in English ● MS in Education ● MAc in Acupuncture ● Craniosacral practitioner ● Certified Microneedling practitioner ● Member of Association for Professional Acupuncture in Pennsylvania ● Member of Young Acupuncturist Association of America ● Member of Acupuncturists Without Borders Monica’s journey in helping others began with a deep passion for education. She earned her master’s degree and certification in both elementary and special education, dedicating ten years of her life to teaching in public schools. Over time, however, she couldn’t ignore the growing toll that stress was having on the people around her family, friends, and colleagues. She saw firsthand how it impacted both the mind and body, and knew she wanted to do more to help. That’s when Monica discovered acupuncture. Drawn to its incredible ability to support the body in managing stress and restoring balance, she decided to shift her focus and expand her ability to care for others. She enrolled at Won Institute of Graduate Studies, where she completed her master’s degree in acupuncture in August 2024. During her time at Won, she had the privilege of interning at the Won Institute Student Acupuncture Clinic and the Tui Na Manual Therapy Clinic. She also provided community care at the Stephen Klein Wellness Center and the Veterans Multi-Service Center in Philadelphia—experiences that deepened her appreciation for acupuncture’s role in supporting overall wellness. Additionally, she pursued her NADA detoxification specialist certification at the New York Harm Reduction Clinic, further expanding her ability to serve those in need. As a Won Student Ambassador, she loved sharing her passion by promoting the Institute to prospective students, patients, and the local community. Now, she practices in the Philadelphia suburbs, where she uses acupuncture, electrostimulation, cupping, tuina, moxibustion, and guasha to help her patients relieve pain, reduce stress, and restore their energy. While she treats a variety of conditions, she has a special interest in musculoskeletal disorders, stress, anxiety, and depression. She is also a proud member of the Association for Professional Acupuncture in Pennsylvania, the Young Acupuncturist Association of America, and Acupuncturists Without Borders. At the heart of her practice is a deep commitment to helping people feel their bes —physically, mentally, and emotionally. She is honored to walk alongside her patients on their healing journeys, providing compassionate care every step of the way.
